Bio
Bill Hommel has been a trial lawyer for over 38 years primarily handling litigation in employment practices liability, FLSA liability, governmental liability, and commercial disputes. His primary practice focus lies in representation of individuals in claims against employers arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Mr. Hommel is an active trial attorney who has handled over 100 jury trials, arbitrations, and appeals. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Texas. Mr. Hommel was board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law in 1992 and certified in Labor and Employment Law in 2005. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, the Western/Eastern Districts of Arkansas, the District of Colorado, the District of New Mexico, the Western District of Oklahoma and the Fifth Circuit and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
