My legal career has spanned nearly two decades, during which I have tried close to 100 cases to jury verdicts. Prior to starting my own private practice, I worked as an insurance defense attorney at a large Texas law firm. I am a member of the Texas State Bar Association’s Litigation, and Labor and Employment Sections, and am a past President of the Smith County Bar Association. I am licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. I am Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA), the National Employment Lawyers Association and the Texas Employment Lawyers Association.
